As you know, poker is online and offline. Offline one is played at the real tables, with live people face-to-face, real chips and cards that you can feel and touch. Online poker requires download of special software. I’ll explain you that as follows.
Every poker site has a poke room to play in. That room is unavailable without software. Latter can be downloaded from any site you choose. You have to click on a banner anywhere on the site, which says: “Download now” – and check out if it is the RIGHT software, with the name of the site. If all is correct, then continue and start downloading. It may be software, which requires future downloading, or already includes all files needed. After download you should install the software on your computer. Follow all instructions on the screen carefully, and possibly no problems will acquire.
Also there are types of poker rooms that do no require bulky downloading and have only a minimal software to download and install. That are called no-download and are played virtually on the site itself. Though the graphics is not of the best quality, it is compensated with high speed.
