Poker strategy

Know that the best poker strategy is being tight-aggressive. What is this? I’ll tell you. In general, there are 4 main types of poker strategy (from the worst to the best): loose-passive, tight-passive, loose-aggressive, tight-aggressive.

Loose-passive is the worst player you can imagine. Firstly, it is not very interesting to play with him. He often calls – no matter what he has, - and folds often. They prefer limit games and usually fall off in the very beginning. For their tactics they are usually called “calling stations”.

Tight-passive is a little better way of acting. Still, they usually can’t switch from limit to no-limit. The style of playing here is simple – they bet a lot if they have good cards, but they fold if someone raises at pre-flop and at the flop.

Loose-aggressive are the players that bet many times – these are maniacs or strong players. First type just love the whole action of poker and especially betting. The second type look like loose-passive but with the head on the shoulders. They can make bet in time and estimate their possibility to win.

Tight-aggressive is the best tactics. It is recommended by all main poker theorists. Play only good hands and fold all others. But if you have the good hand and you see it wins – bet, raise and in whole play very aggressively. Create an impression that if you play, you have good hand.

Good luck!
